She has established herself as one of the most influential singer-songwriters of her generation. She has always written about her life, but as her fame grew, her songs began to inspire everyone from ordinary high school students to well-known celebrities, and fans have always enjoyed guessing who she is talking to.
Today, it’s almost impossible for superstars to get ignored, much alone keep major aspects of their personal life hidden from the public eye. When this promising actor, Joe Alwyn, keeps his personal life secret, the interest in him grows even more. He is a 29-year-old English actor who shot to popularity after being romantically connected to one of the world’s most famous ladies, Taylor Swift.
Who is Joe Alwyn in her life?
They have been dating for a time, but their relationship has largely remained a secret due to his very cautious attitude to discussing his personal life.
Fans are discovering more about their relationship as time goes on, from Joe’s participation in Taylor’s Netflix documentary to his writing credits on her albums, which were penned during London’s coronavirus lockdown.
Taylor Swift has admitted to writing songs about each of her ex-boyfriends. So, here’s a list of who inspired each song, as well as the interviews she gave about it and any other pertinent information. Because Taylor hasn’t verified most of these, some of them may be fan speculation.
Who has Taylor Swift Dated?
Tom Hiddleston (June 2016-September 2016)
That was a hot flash in the pan, to say the least! Swift was spotted dancing with actor Tom Hiddleston at The Met Gala in May of 2016, just days before her very public split with dance EDM musician Calvin Harris. They were then spotted kissing and cuddling on the beach a few days after their split with Harris. The pair broke up in early September after three months of claimed intense romance.
Calvin Harris (February 2015-June 2016)
This couple met at The Brit Awards in February 2015 via a common acquaintance, Ellie Goulding, and hit it off right away. The pair was a match made in music heaven, spending the Fourth of July vacations together on the beach as well as celebrated their one-year anniversary with a handmade cake. Obviously, all wonderful things must come to an end, and when it became ugly, it became very hideous. Swift gives an eerie reference to Harris in her solo music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” creeping out of a cemetery next to a tombstone reading “Nils Sjoberg,” the psydenom the singer used it to hide her identity on Harris and Rihanna’s smash song “This is What You Came For.”
Kennedy, Conor (July 2012-October 2012)
Taylor stated that her song “Begin Again” is about “after you’ve gone through a very terrible relationship and you eventually dust yourself off” during an interview. Oddly, the 22-year-old was smitten with 18-year-old Conor Kennedy at the time. It seems that he was the inspiration for songs like “I think it’s odd that you think I’m humorous ’cause he never did.
Zac Efron (February 2012-March 2012)
They allegedly began dating in the first half of 2011 while promoting their film “The Lorax.” However, both reject the allegations, and it doesn’t seem like Efron was involved with any of the songs on “Red.” On Ellen DeGeneres’ talk program, the two wrote a song about their relationship, refuting the dating rumors with a parody of Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks.”
Eddie Redmayne (October 2011-January 2012)
He was believed to be dating Swift for a few months in 2011, but the 31-year-old actor has maintained his denial of the connection until lately. Whether or whether they had the rumored three-month romance, he doesn’t seem to have left enough of an impression on the pop princess to deserve a song on her new album.
Jake Gyllenhaal (October 2010-January 2011)
Swift stated in an interview with NPR that “”The Last Time” is about an event she had with someone who was a bit of a prick. You never know when he’ll go, and you never know when he’ll return, but he always does. It’s hardly a leap to believe Swift is singing, “Put my name at the top of your list,” about Jake Gyllenhaal, given his acting credits that transport him all over the world and the abundance of beautiful choices he has.
Cory Monteith (April 2010-May 2010)
“A man I just barely knew placed his arm around me by the lake, and I saw the whole relationship flash before my eyes,” Swift revealed to Yahoo about the “Speak Now” song “Mine.” Swift and late “Glee” actor Cory Monteith never acknowledged they were dating — though they both went bright red when Ellen DeGeneres broached the topic — but if they were, she has a vivid imagination and could write a decent song about it.
Mayer, John (December 2009-February 2010)
What was most likely a lovely summer 2010 relationship ended sourly and, of course, in song. Swift, who was 19 at the time, appeared to believe that John should have handled the fragile rural flower with greater care.
Taylor Lautner (August 2009-December 2009)
Swift apologizes to an ex on the Speak Now song “Back to December” for a bad night, which may have been the night she dumped actor Taylor Lautner. Why should we think she’s referring about the former teen wolf who initially grabbed Swift’s attention on the set of their “Valentine’s Day” movie? She did say something about his “tan skin” and “beautiful grin.”
Lucas Till (March 2009-April 2009)
On the filming of the popular music video “You Belong with Me,” Swift’s co-star Lucas Till captured her heart, but their romance was short-lived. There didn’t seem to be much drama, which may explain why Till has not been the subject of a Swift song. He subsequently said that their short relationship “didn’t work out” because he “truly simply loved her as a friend.”
Joe Jonas (July 2008-October 2008)
They seemed to be going well until he broke up with her after a 27-second phone conversation. Her first responses to the break-up were a bit harsher — “Last Kiss” and “Forever and Always” — but her newest take on the Jonas Brothers, “Holy Ground,” is a lot more pleasant. She seems to have moved on from Jonas and is reminiscing about the good times she had with her fellow pop star.
